Snow, Ice, Closed and Difficult Roads: Updated
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 11, 19:30, there are closed and difficult roads in the Republic of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for truck trailers and difficult to traverse for others.
The Sotk-Karmiravank road is difficult to pass due to ice.
In the Ushi area of Aragatsotn Province, there are patches of ice on the curves.
Snow has fallen in the cities of Abovyan and Charentsavan in Kotayk Province, as well as in Spitak and Vanadzor in Lori Province.
There is fog in the Spitak area.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to the information received from the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
Construction Work is Ongoing
Construction work is taking place on the 39th km of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road section.
The following alternative routes for transportation have been established:
Internal transportation to the cities of Alaverdi and Vanadzor and nearby communities should be conducted via:
- Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Agarak-Koghes-Aygehart-Odzun-Alaverdi along the Georgian border road sections.

Since June 30, 2018, and up until February 11 of this year, construction work has been ongoing on the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri road, resulting in a stretch of about 200 meters being unilaterally closed.
