Charges Filed Against Official of the Cadastre Committee
Within the framework of an ongoing criminal case in the investigative department of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts, sufficient evidence has been gathered to file charges against the head of the data entry division of the territorial subdivision of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre in Yerevan. This was stated by Naira Harutyunyan, head of the press department of the Investigative Committee, in an interview with SHANTNEWS.am.
She noted that the official is charged with willfully failing to execute a court decision.
Specifically, a citizen has repeatedly appealed in writing to the data entry division of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre in Yerevan, stating that their land parcels located in the Haghintak neighborhood of Yerevan are in different situational positions in nature and on the electronic map. The citizen demanded that the land parcel be placed on the electronic map and requested corrections to be made in the cadastral plans, while preserving the linear dimensions and area. However, their request was ignored by the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre.
According to Harutyunyan, the citizen contested this matter in the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia, and based on the citizen's claims, the Administrative Court issued a decision on July 7, 2017, obliging the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre to place the citizen’s land parcel on the electronic map and make corrections to the cadastral plans, preserving the linear dimensions and area, which was not executed by the head of the relevant subdivision of the committee.
