Azerbaijani Armed Forces Soldier Killed

On January 7, a resident of the Kapaz district of Ganja, born in 2000, named Rüfət Bəxtiyar oğlu Rüstəmov, was killed in the Fizuli direction. This was reported by Razm.info, citing the Azerbaijani opposition news agency 'Meydan'.

It was noted that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has not made any statement regarding the soldier's death. According to Azerbaijani sources, he was killed by a bullet from Armenian forces. Rüstəmov was called up for military service in January of the previous year and served in one of the military units in Beylagan.

“It should be noted that the soldier is dressed in the uniform of peacekeeping forces. It can be assumed that he served in those units for some time,” Razm.info writes.

It is recalled that from January 1, 2019, until today, there have been 3 reported casualties among the Azerbaijani armed forces and related power structures.
