VIDEO: Can Russian Opposition Leader Navalny Repeat Pashinyan's Example? The Prime Minister's Response

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gave an interview to the German outlet "Deutsche Welle."

"The greatest achievement is that Armenia is now a democratic country, where systemic corruption has been eradicated, there are no economic monopolies, all citizens are equal before the law, and citizens truly determine the fate of power: They decide who will be in power and who will be outside of it," said the Prime Minister.

When asked about his recent statement regarding forbidding his security personnel from leaving their offices with anything other than documents, the Prime Minister agreed that this is an effective measure against corruption, acknowledging that it is one of the methods employed.

Speaking about the case of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan, the Prime Minister recalled the ten victims of March 1 and the tragic events surrounding it: "You know that international organizations have demanded an objective investigation, and now the investigation is progressing. I cannot say where it will lead," he noted.

In response to the question of whether Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny could replicate his experience in Armenia, Pashinyan stated that he cannot comment on the internal political processes of any country and cannot say anything in that regard.
