Emergency Situations Ministry Warns of Closed and Difficult Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 5 at 08:00, there are closed and difficult-to-access roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for cargo trucks with trailers (due to blizzard), and difficult to navigate for passenger vehicles.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable (black ice).

On the Goris-Sisian roads in the Syunik region, there are patches of black ice in the areas known as "Zanger" and "Meghry Hill."

The Goris-Kapan road is experiencing fog.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
