Situation Changes for Erebuni Residents and Inmates in Nubarashen Prison – Zeynalyan

The situation for the residents of the Erebuni administrative district and for individuals held in the Nubarashen penitentiary has changed. They will no longer complain about the foul smell caused by the sewage systems in the penitentiary area. This was announced by Justice Minister Artak Zeynalyan on his Facebook page, accompanied by a video.

“The issue has been resolved. The damaged sewage systems at the Nubarashen Penitentiary have been completely replaced with new ones, and a new drainage system has also been constructed,” Zeynalyan stated.

It is worth mentioning that an incident occurred in February 2018 during a Yerevan City Council meeting, when council members brought containers filled with sewage water to draw the attention of city authorities to the problem,” Zeynalyan noted.
