Closed and Impassable Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 4, at 22:00, there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers (due to a snowstorm) and is impassable for passenger vehicles.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable due to black ice.

On the Goris-Sisian roads in the Syunik region, there are patches of black ice in the areas known as “Zanger” and “Meghru Sar.”

The Goris-Kapan road is under fog.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the STEPNANZMINDA-LARS road is open for all types of vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia, there are trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
