Promised Bonuses Paid to Police Officers on Duty, Additional Bonuses to Be Granted
The Police of the Republic of Armenia is denying reports that bonuses promised to police officers who were on duty have not been paid. This is stated in the police's clarification.
"Let us clarify that bonuses stipulated by law have been paid to police officers, from the Chief of Police to rank-and-file, including those on combat duty, at the end of the year. Moreover, regarding those who carried out combat duty, Chief of Police Valery Osipyan signed a separate order on January 23 to grant them additional bonuses.
We urge the media to refer to informed and relevant authorities for accurate and complete information when preparing publications," the clarification states.
