Bus Carrying Children Overturns in Kaluga Region, Casualties Reported

A major accident occurred in the Kaluga region where a passenger bus overturned on the road. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were 41 people on the bus, including 25 children and 16 adults. The bus was en route from Smolensk to Kaluga for a competition. Currently, it is reported that 4 individuals have died, one of whom is a child. A total of 21 people were injured.

Rescue teams managed to extract 32 trapped individuals from the bus. Emergency responders, doctors, and police are on-site, with a rescue helicopter also dispatched to assist. The governor of Smolensk has joined the rescue efforts. There is currently no information on the causes of the accident, and the driver is providing testimony.
