Major Aviation Accident: TU-22M3 Aircraft Disintegrates Upon Landing

A TU-22M3 aircraft disintegrated upon landing in Murmansk. The horrific accident occurred in the presence of witnesses who recorded the incident. Three pilots on board died at the scene, while doctors are fighting for the life of one more.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has described the accident as a hard landing.
