What is Being Discussed in the "My Step" Meeting Currently Underway

The closed meeting of the "My Step" faction continues in the National Assembly, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also in attendance.

Journalists at the Assembly's checkpoint had the opportunity to chat with faction member Hovik Agazaryan, who provided some details on the topics being discussed during the meeting.

"We are discussing the processes that have occurred over the past month; the Prime Minister presented information related to Davos, including what was discussed, what conversations took place, and when the government program is to be presented to the committees. On Monday, a preliminary version of the government program will come to the Assembly, and presumably, the draft of the government structure will be presented as well," the deputy elaborated.

When asked why regional governors are participating in the faction meeting, he stated that they are not just governors but also members of the ruling party's board.

However, he refuted the assertion that today's gathering at the National Assembly is a meeting of the ``Civil Contract`` party rather than the faction meeting.

My Step faction member Nikolay Baghdasaryan did not wish to provide details about the faction meeting attended by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"The format of the meeting is closed, and no deputy is allowed to disclose information," Baghdasaryan replied to reporters' questions.

In response to the remark that the deputy serves the public, Baghdasaryan retorted, "You and I serve the public, but now, if you and I agree that it will be a closed discussion, wouldn't discussing the information from your side violate that agreement?" he concluded.

It should be noted that today journalists have not been allowed into the National Assembly building and are instead at the checkpoint.
