Kocharian Attends Hearing on Changing His Detention Measure

The Court of Appeals of the Republic of Armenia continues to review the matter concerning the detention measure of Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharian.

It is noteworthy that on January 18, Judge Artur Mkrtchyan of the General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan had approved the investigator of the Special Investigative Service’s request to extend the detention period of Robert Kocharian and denied the defense's request to replace the detention measure with bail as an alternative.
