Azerbaijan Increases Gas Prices Supplied to Georgia
SOCAR Georgia Gas (SGG), a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, which is the main supplier of natural gas to Georgia, is set to raise gas prices starting March 1.
The company announced that the price for commercial users will be 95 tetri per cubic meter, including VAT, according to aliq.ge.
Currently, commercial customers pay 84 tetri per cubic meter, meaning the gas price will increase by 10.5%.
According to official information, the reason for the increase is the change in the exchange rate of the lari and distribution tariffs.
