Aside from Bonuses, State Revenue Committee Employees Have Accumulated Millions: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' daily reports that for several days, Armenian media have been continuously discussing the bonuses awarded to employees of the State Revenue Committee (SRC). On this issue, the ruling 'My Step' faction invited the Chairman of the SRC, David Ananyan, to give insights. Ultimately, it has come to light that substantial bonuses have been received by individuals who, after years of working within the SRC, have accumulated millions.

'Zhoghovurd' has learned that one such individual is Vahagn Sahakyan, the Deputy Head of the Organization and Control Department of the SRC. As of the day he assumed his position, he declared that he possesses three canvases valued over 8 million AMD, a gold ingot exceeding 8 million AMD, jewelry, and watches, while his monetary assets total $30,000, 10 million AMD, and €20,000. He declared his own salary as income, which amounts to 741,000 AMD monthly. How he has accumulated such wealth with a modest salary remains a matter for speculation.
