We Did Not Discuss the Issue of Artsakh with Bolton, The Names Nagorno-Karabakh or Artsakh Were Not Mentioned: Pashinyan

There is no information that the public is not aware of. I have stated that the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh was not discussed during the phone conversation with Bolton. This was announced today in a conversation with reporters by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"The names Nagorno-Karabakh or Artsakh were not mentioned, nor was the name Azerbaijan mentioned. Any professional journalist who reads my post and adds Bolton's tweet will know everything. It is simply incorrect for me to say that he said this and I said that, all the information has been provided.

I believe that our Government is pursuing a policy on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue that no one has pursued before. Any attempts to draw parallels or find similarities with any previously pursued political line is a complete delusion.

We cannot discuss, even consider a formula of territories in exchange for peace," Pashinyan said.

It is worth noting that today U.S. Presidential Advisor John Bolton tweeted that he had a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during which they also touched upon the issue of Artsakh.
