A media war has been declared against the authorities, and we have accepted the challenge. This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, during a conversation with reporters.

Among other issues, the Deputy Speaker answered the question of whether he believes that certain statements made by representatives of the government affect the authority and the Prime Minister’s rating, which often receive criticism and sometimes ridicule.

“Firstly, this stems from our straightforwardness. We are open about our thoughts and actions. All of this is a consequence of that. Secondly, a media war has been declared against our government by the former authorities. We have accepted the challenge. We are at ease because we are honest and have no reason to worry,” Simonian said.
