The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Supports Nikol Pashinyan to Lead Opposition After 5 Years
The newspaper "Hayots Ashkharh" reports that despite Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s declaration of readiness to cooperate with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), representatives of this party continue to assert the idea of leading him "home" after five years.
In an interview with "Hayots Ashkharh", the new representative of the ARF Bureau, Hakob Ter-Khachaturyan, stated that he fully shares the criticisms made by former Bureau representative Grant Margaryan during the ARF’s general assembly. When asked if he also supports sending the authorities home in five years, Ter-Khachaturyan responded, "Of course. And it is absolutely not strange to cooperate with them after all this, as experiences from other countries show that authorities always meet with the opposition and vice versa.
They collaborate for the sake of the homeland and for the benefit of the state. What is strange about being able to cooperate in certain fields while saying in others, 'yes, we are opposition'?"
