Samvel Karapetyan Did Not Want to Meet Pashinyan
The newspaper 'Past' reports that after the change of power in 2018, Armenian-Russian relations have, to say the least, been unstable. As a result, most Armenian businessmen in Russia have adopted a rather cautious political stance. Russian capital is not only not increasing but, according to some information, has begun to gradually leave Armenia.
It’s a fact that representatives of Russian capital have carefully withdrawn, refraining from intervening in any processes and avoiding developments in Armenia.
According to our information, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is currently on a working visit to Moscow, attempted to meet with representatives of the Armenian business community after official meetings, but, for instance, Kamo Avagumyan and Samvel Karapetyan declined to meet with Pashinyan. It’s worth noting that these individuals had previously made significant investments in the economy of Armenia.
