Don’t Get Distracted, Keep Your Sheep: News Outlet Director Summoned by NSS
Konstantin Ter-Nakalyan, the director of the news website BlogNews, has been summoned by the National Security Service (NSS) for questioning. Ter-Nakalyan announced this through a Facebook post.
“We live in a New Armenia... where a minister believes that a clergyman has no place in schools, while a transvestite activist does have a place in the ministry... where a hunger striker convicted of financial crimes is dying in prison, while murderous terrorists enjoy the bliss of freedom and try their luck in elections... where half of the city’s cars are left in utter disrepair due to the resurgence of theft, while the police are preoccupied with fairy tales about religious enmity... where, at the whim of a sectarian organization, law enforcement is meddling with the largest media entities, and this is happening through the assistant of the prime minister, who is a member of that organization...
Tomorrow, I have been invited by the NSS to be questioned in a criminal case concerning incitement of religious enmity through media. I am going to the NSS with a lawyer tomorrow to see what they want from me and why they want it. Dear fools, don’t get distracted and keep your sheep!” he wrote.
