Where Have We Reached? Pashinyan is Now Referring to Aliyev, Says Sharmazanov

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is now making references to Aliyev rather than to the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. This was reported today by the spokesperson for the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), Eduard Sharmazanov.

According to Sharmazanov, Pashinyan has fallen into Aliyev's trap in Dushanbe. "Where have we reached?" he stated.

Sharmazanov expressed that he has the impression that Pashinyan was not even aware that he was going to meet with Aliyev, suggesting that he only learned about it at the last minute because his stance did not appear confident.

Commenting on Armenian-Russian relations, Sharmazanov emphasized that Armenia has effectively become a non-entity in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) thanks to Nikol Pashinyan.

The ARF spokesperson stated that Pashinyan needs to realize that random words are not used in diplomacy. "I am asking him a specific question: when you said joining the EAEU was a mistake, why are you now repeating that mistake?" Sharmazanov highlighted.

Eduard Sharmazanov added that Pashinyan has not fulfilled what he promised: "The indicators of his nine months in power significantly lag behind those of the previous administration."

To a question about former President Serzh Sargsyan being 'rejected,' Sharmazanov responded: "A year from now, we will see who was rejected and who was not."

"Serzh Sargsyan is our party chairman, a hero of Artsakh; he has both something to say and something to do in politics," Sharmazanov concluded.
