Hearing on Kocharian's Bail Conditions Begins

Under the presidency of Judge Mnatsakan Harutyunyan, the Appeals Court today is once again reviewing the issue of former Armenian President Robert Kocharian's bail conditions.

It is worth recalling that on January 18, Judge Artur Mkrtchyan of the Yerevan City Court satisfied the special investigation service's investigator's request to extend Kocharian's detention period and rejected the defense team's request to replace the detention with an alternative bail measure.

The defense team has filed an appeal against this court decision.
