Bookmaker Cashier Assaulted and Large Sum of Money Stolen

On January 27, a robbery occurred in Yerevan.

According to shamshyan.com, at approximately 02:50, the Central Police Department received a report that a team of emergency medical responders had been dispatched to the basement of a bookmaker's office operating in the Central administrative district of Yerevan, where they transported a woman with severe injuries to the number 1 university hospital.

Police officers determined that the injured party was 55-year-old Hasmik J., a cashier at the bookmaker's office and a resident of the Arabkir administrative district, who sustained bodily injuries to various parts of her body, including her head.

Investigators found that on the same day, around 01:50, an unidentified individual, masked, entered the specified center, assaulted the cashier, severely beat her, and then stole 1 million 85 thousand drams from the cash register before fleeing.

Doctors at the hospital informed police and investigators that the victim is in critical condition and unable to provide a report regarding the incident.
