Artsakh Army Not Involved in March 1 Events, Says Movses Hakobyan

The Army of the Republic of Artsakh was not involved in the post-election events occurring in Yerevan on March 1-2. This was stated to journalists by the former Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces and Chief Military Inspector, Movses Hakobyan.

When asked what information he has regarding the articles concerning the overthrow of the constitutional order, Hakobyan mentioned that he is far from legal matters and is not informed: 'I have been the Minister of Defense of Artsakh.'

Regarding the question of the legality of order 0038, Movses Hakobyan replied: 'I am a soldier.'

On another observation about what changes have occurred in the army since the revolution, Hakobyan emphasized: 'I am not aware.'
