Large Stone Struck a Train Window Heading to General Andranik Station

Yesterday, a large stone was thrown at the window of a train heading to General Andranik Station. Nazeli Nikoghosyan made a post about this on her Facebook page. She also called for the attention of relevant authorities: the Yerevan Metro, Yerevan Municipality, and the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

“Today, during the time period between 18:00 and 18:10, on the section of the path from Sasuntsi David metro station to General Andranik, while the train was in motion, a person, I don't know which lewd individual from my nation, hit the train window with a large stone, barely missing injuring my child, as well as other passengers, since the entire glass shattered inside as well. I can’t even imagine what could have happened… Fortunately, the stone fell just 5-10 centimeters away. I ask, urge, and demand that measures be taken; these could include barriers to protect that area, or surveillance systems to detect such lewd individuals. I don’t know what else we can think of. I do not want to FEAR using the safest and most beloved mode of transportation. I sincerely hope that this was the FIRST and LAST incident, and that nothing like this will recur,” wrote Nazeli Nikoghosyan.

Aurora Media has attempted to contact the Yerevan Metro. We will present the details of the incident tomorrow, since it is Sunday and it is difficult to reach those responsible today.

And in conclusion, it is simply astonishing to observe such behavior from the human brain. It would be more correctly stated as inaction. The person throwing the stone could explain how their action is different from detonating a bomb on a train.
