Armenia Improves Ranking by 30 Points in the 'Good Countries' Index, Says Nikol Pashinyan

Armenia has significantly improved its position in the "Good Countries" international index, moving up by 30 points from 75th to 45th place during 2018.

This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

“If we achieve the same progress in 2019, we will find ourselves on the threshold of the top ten good countries. Of course, such indices and advancements do not yield immediate results, but they enhance the country's attractiveness in terms of tourism and investments. Therefore, it is not worth underestimating,” the Prime Minister wrote.

It is notable that Finland topped the 2018 ranking list. The top ten also included Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway, France, Spain, and Canada. The United States ranked 40th, Russia 41st, Turkey 57th, Georgia 39th, and Azerbaijan 108th.
