Snow on Some Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia reports that as of January 25 at 15:00, snow is falling on the roads of the Ashotsk, Akhuryan, Artik, Aparan, and Aragats regions.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult for passenger vehicles due to snowdrifts, and it is closed for heavy trucks and vehicles with trailers.

Road construction teams are currently engaged in snow clearing and treatment with salt and sand on the affected roads.

Other interstate and republican roads remain open.
