Pashinyan is Merely a Prime Minister for Domestic Consumption: Armen Ashotyann

In the wake of Nikol Pashinyan's press conference in Moscow, I note several significant (if not disgraceful) points. This is what the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyann, wrote on his Facebook page, noting:

“1. While in Moscow, assuming the presidency of the EEU and speaking about Armenia's membership in the EEU, Nikol Pashinyan is essentially characterizing that membership as a mistake once again. This deliberately sounded assessment exposes the wrinkles that have arisen in Armenian-Russian relations during his tenure, which we have been voicing concerns about for months, in response to the propaganda falsehood that these relations are better and more solid than ever.

2. Linking the creation of the Islamic State to the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq during Obama’s presidency signifies a lack of knowledge and understanding of geopolitics and regional developments.

3. Immediately after the meeting in Dushanbe, Nikol Pashinyan, who presented the results of the meeting live, was replaced by Nikol Pashinyan, who talks about the ethics of negotiations and confidentiality; about which the Armenian public learns from foreign sources regarding his second meeting (in St. Petersburg and Davos).

Once again, I am convinced that Nikol Pashinyan is merely a prime minister for domestic consumption and has not acquired the capabilities to represent the country.”
