A Number of Specialists Will Be Taxed

According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, the draft amendments to the Tax Code introduced by the Ministry of Finance have caused serious discontent among not only accountants but also lawyers and consultants.

The package of proposals suggests implementing a general taxation system for lawyers, attorneys, consultants, and accountants. Additionally, the package proposes to abandon the application of excise tax rate percentages while simultaneously moderately increasing the excise tax rates for certain goods.
