The Number of Vehicles Serving the Prime Minister's Staff Will Be Significantly Reduced
The head of the Prime Minister's Office, Eduard Aghajanyan, has announced that the number of vehicles serving the office will be significantly reduced. Instead of the current 50, only 7 will remain.
Currently, the following officials benefit from service vehicles with attached drivers:
- Deputy Prime Ministers
- Head of the Prime Minister's Office
- Secretary of the Security Council
- Deputy Heads of the Office
- Heads of Departments within the Office
- Heads of Offices subordinate to the Office
- Advisors to the Prime Minister
- Some aides to the Prime Minister
As a result of the changes, only the following will continue to have service vehicles:
- The two Deputy Prime Ministers
- The Secretary of the Security Council
“And that's it! I will also refuse my service vehicle. The drivers have already been notified as required by law,” Aghajanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
