Former Kotayk Governor Summoned by Investigative Committee
In connection with the alleged corruption evidences discovered during the privatization of the forest fund lands in Hrazdan, former Kotayk governor Kovalensko Shahgeldyan has been summoned and provided an explanation to the Investigative Committee. This was reported to NEWS.am by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
During the preparatory phase of the criminal case, the former head of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, Manuk Vardanyan, has also given an explanation.
It is noteworthy that former Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan and former director of 'Hayantar' SNCO Martun Matevosyan have already provided their explanations in this case.
Earlier, we reported that a criminal case has been initiated in the Investigative Committee’s Main Division of Investigation regarding the misuse of official position by public officials during the privatization of more than 50 hectares of forest fund lands.
