The Man Who Called the Constitutional Court Judge Has Died: There is No Evidence Supporting the Charges Against Armen Gevorgyan

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: "On January 25, the RA Court of Appeals will announce its decision regarding the appeal on the preventive measure of former Deputy Prime Minister and former Secretary of the Security Council Armen Gevorgyan. It is possible that the Court of Appeals, like the first instance court, will not detain him.

According to sources from "Zhoghovurd," it has been determined during the review of the motion in the first instance court that there was no concrete evidence against Gevorgyan, such as him taking a bribe or obstructing the administration of justice.

There is only one testimony against Armen Gevorgyan, and that person is the well-known businessman Silva Hambardzumyan, who has also lodged complaints against other officials, accusing them of taking bribes from him. It has also been mentioned that a person cannot be judged based solely on a WikiLeaks publication; there must be evidence that Gevorgyan exerted pressure on Constitutional Court Judge Valeri Poghosyan. By the way, the person who called Poghosyan has reportedly also died, according to our information."
