Unexploded Mortar Shell Found in Ararat Region

An unexploded ordnance was spotted near the railway line on Sevak Street in the village of Vostan, Ararat Region. Emergency Ministry personnel were dispatched to the scene and discovered an 82 mm unexploded mortar shell.

The rescuers secured the area and maintained a presence at the site. Sappers from one of the Defense Ministry's military units transported the shell to an open area in Vostan village and safely disposed of it.
