10-Year-Old Girl Hit by Car in Gyumri; Hospitalized

Today, on January 20, an accident occurred in the Shirak region. At approximately 16:10, a 30-year-old resident of Gyumri, Khachatur Madoyan, struck a 10-year-old girl, Vardush Gh., with his Opel Vectra vehicle, license plate 35 QQ 150, at the intersection of Sakharov Square and T. Tchar-tarpeti street in Gyumri.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene. He transported the child to the hospital himself, and then voluntarily presented himself to the Mush police department. An investigation is underway concerning the incident.
