Blizzard from the Sevan Peninsula to the Dilijan Tunnel
The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia informs that as of January 19 at 10:00, there are areas of ice on the roads of Artik, Spitak, Goris, and Kapan, as well as on the Dilijan-Vanadzor section.
A blizzard is occurring from the Sevan Peninsula to the Dilijan Tunnel.
The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for passenger vehicles and closed for heavy and trailer transport.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 19 at 08:00, there are impassable and closed roads across the territory of Armenia. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and is difficult to navigate for others. The Sotk-Karvachar road and the roads leading to the villages of Mirak and Charjaghk in Aragatsotn Province are impassable. There are areas of ice on the Sotk-Karvachar road and on sections of the roads in the regions of Ashotk and Amasia in Shirak Province.
The Stepanavan-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles. There is a risk of snowdrifts. On the Russian side, there are accumulated 165 trucks, 120 passenger cars, and 1 bus.
