Assault on Medical University Lecturer in Yerevan, Vehicle Damaged
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on January 15. The driver of an Opel Astra vehicle allegedly engaged in an unfounded argument without any reason with 61-year-old Ashot Gevorgyan, a resident of Yerevan. The assailant reportedly struck Gevorgyan multiple times in the face and various parts of his body, before damaging Gevorgyan's Nissan vehicle.
Materials are being prepared in the investigatory department of the Arabkir division of the police regarding the incident.
Ashot Gevorgyan is an associate professor and lecturer at Yerevan State Medical University, and also works at the Norq-Marash Medical Center.
The police are taking necessary measures to identify the perpetrator.
