Car Accident on Spitak-Yerevan Road: Casualties Reported
On January 18, at 16:36, the emergency services received a call reporting a traffic accident at the 4th km of the Spitak-Yerevan road, where vehicles had collided, necessitating the assistance of rescuers.
A team of firefighters and rescuers was dispatched to the scene from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was determined that on the 8th km of the M-3 highway section of Spitak-Yerevan, an "Opel Astra" (driven by S. M., born in 1992) collided with a "SEAT Toledo" (driven by B. M., born in 1979).
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and passengers of the "SEAT Toledo"— S. P. (born in 1970) and K. S. (born in 1973)—were hospitalized at the Spitak Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers escorted the driver of the "Opel Astra" to the ambulance, and he was also hospitalized at the Spitak Medical Center, with doctors likewise rating his health condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
