VIDEO: I'm a 60-Year-Old Man, I've Never Seen a Nightclub in My Life - Sasun Mikayelyan

Member of the 'My Step' faction Sasun Mikayelyan spoke with journalists in parliament today about his son, the Mayor of Hrazdan Sevak Mikayelyan's decision to ban the further operation of nightclubs in Hrazdan. He noted that nightclubs have caused significant problems for local residents, with some people even falling into debt due to them, and incidents of stabbings have also occurred.

The parliamentarian stated that the format of nightclubs can be changed, transforming them into mere venues for nighttime entertainment. Mikayelyan indicated that this is the demand of the people. According to him, nightclubs have not been banned; their format has simply been altered.

In response to a journalist's comment that this implies that nightclubs have turned into brothels, he replied,

“I'm a 60-year-old man; I've never seen a nightclub in my life. I don't know what goes on there.”
