Snowstorm on Goris-Sisian Road Segment

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia informs that as of January 14, at 15:00, snow is falling on the roads of Aparan, Artik, and Hrazdan regions.

A snowstorm is occurring on the Goris-Sisian road segment.

There are patches of black ice on the Martuni roadways.

Fog has settled on the roads of Talin region and the Talin-Mastara-Lanjik road segment, reducing visibility to 100-150 meters.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for passenger vehicles due to the snowstorm, while heavy and trailer vehicles are completely restricted.

Other interstate and republican roads in Armenia remain open.

Road construction crews are working on the highways to clear and treat them with salt and sand.
