Snow Falling on Highways

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia reports that as of January 14, at 17:00, snow is falling on the highways in the regions of Aparan, Artik, and Hrazdan.

Blizzard conditions have been reported on the Goris-Sisian road segment. This information comes from the ministry's press service.

Black ice has been observed on the Martuni and Nairi highways. In the Talin region, fog has reduced visibility to between 100 and 150 meters on the Talin-Mastara-Lanjik road segment.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for passenger vehicles due to the snowstorm, and it is closed to heavy and trailer vehicles.

Other interstate and republican significance highways in Armenia remain open.
