Body of 62-Year-Old Russian National Discovered on the Road to Ptghni

A mysterious incident occurred in the Kotayk Province on January 13. Around 1:00 PM, the Kotayk Police received a report about a bloody body found in the middle of the road leading to the summer cottages of Ptghni. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

Police and investigators discovered the body of 62-year-old Ashot Khangeldyan, a Russian national who was temporarily residing in one of the houses on 12th street in the village of Getamej.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, exterior examination of the body revealed traces of scratches on the forehead and wrists, which, according to the medical examiner, could have resulted from a fall.

In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared at the Nairi Investigative Division, and several expert evaluations have been ordered by the investigator.
