Who Will Occupy Eduard Sharmazanov's Office in the National Assembly?
According to the newspaper '168 Jam', active construction has begun in the office designated for deputy speakers of the National Assembly. This office was previously occupied by Eduard Sharmazanov. According to Factor.am, this office will henceforth be occupied by Alen Simonyan. Simonyan did not deny this information, stating, 'I assume that I will be the one to occupy it.'
He further emphasized that the construction work is being carried out not by his means, but by the National Assembly itself.
'I am not conducting construction there; the National Assembly is doing the construction. There are issues related to windows and the restroom in the room. The windows are made of wood, have not been changed and will not be changed, they do not close properly, and there are issues with the handles. The restroom was also in a deplorable state, and the National Assembly is renovating it,' said Simonyan.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly staff has informed that no funds have been allocated for the renovation of Sharmazanov's former office.
In addition, members of the 'My Step' faction attempted to divide offices among themselves through a lottery, but the process was left incomplete. The National Assembly staff conveyed that office spaces previously occupied by the Republican Party members would be allocated to the members of the 'My Step' faction.
