We Demand the Arrest of Manvel: Protest in Ejmiatsin

Citizens protesting against the freedom of Manvel Grigoryan are holding a march through the streets of Ejmiatsin.

"We will move to Yerevan with a car rally from Komitas Square at 3 p.m.," they announced.

"A thug like Manvel, who has kept the city under dictatorship for 20 years, must be condemned. Manvel has no place in this holy city. M. Grigoryan is the scoundrel who once plundered our country. We will not allow him to be free anymore," the protesters stated, calling on citizens to join their action.

"We demand that he be arrested immediately. If our demand is not met, we will resort to more severe measures."
