15 People Have Died from 'Swine Flu' in Georgia

A 63-year-old man has died in Batumi due to complications from the flu. This was reported by newsgeorgia.ge, citing the Minister of Health and Social Security of Adjara, Zaal Mikelaidze.

“Laboratory tests have confirmed that the man died as a result of flu complications, but he also had other risk factors,” said Mikelaidze.

Nationwide, 15 people have died from complications related to the virus. The day before, the director of the National Center for Disease Control of the Ministry of Health of Georgia announced that the number of hospitalized patients with flu has increased from 616 to 845.
