Road Situation Update

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of January 10 at 15:00, there are patches of black ice on the roads of the Martuni and Kotayk regions, as well as in the Spitak bends.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the snowstorm in the Vardenyats mountain pass has subsided. Currently, the employees of the road construction companies serving the mentioned road are conducting work to clear and open the road.

All interstate and republican significance roads are open.

Road construction teams are conducting clearing and treatment works with salt and sand on the roads.
