VIDEO: Attempted Robbery at Clothing Store

The investigation unit of the Shengavit administrative district of the Yerevan city investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee is taking measures to identify the individual who attempted to commit robbery at a clothing store located in one of Yerevan's shopping centers.

On August 16, 2018, at 15:24, the individual attempted to openly steal two pairs of men's shoes at the clothing store, but was unable to complete the crime due to unforeseen circumstances.

A criminal case has been opened at the Shengavit investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee under part 1 of Article 34-176 of the RA Criminal Code.

During the pre-trial investigation, recordings from the store's security cameras on the day of the incident were obtained and are being examined.

In order to ensure a comprehensive, objective, and thorough investigation of the criminal case, efforts are being made to identify the individual depicted in the footage.

We kindly ask the individual in question to present themselves to the investigative authority or anyone who recognizes them or has any information about their identity or whereabouts to contact the Shengavit investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee in Yerevan.
