Hearing on Kocharyan's Bail Modification Delayed

The discussion on the motion for bail modification for Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharyan, has been postponed in the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court. It will continue next year on January 9.

Aram Orbelyan, a member of Kocharyan's defense team, announced to reporters that the investigator handling the case from the Special Investigation Service requested the postponement, as he could not attend hearings outside of working hours.

It is noteworthy that Robert Kocharyan is involved in the March 1 case and has been charged under Part 1 of Article 300.1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia for allegedly conspiring with others to overthrow the constitutional order of the Republic of Armenia.
