Gagik Surenyans Warns of Severe Weather Conditions

Tomorrow, on December 27, heavy snowfall, blizzards, low horizontal visibility, and icy roads are expected in Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn, and Kotayk mountain regions. This was stated by Gagik Surenyans, head of the Meteorological Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, on his Facebook page.

No precipitation is expected on the afternoon of December 29, and on December 30-31.

On December 27, in some regions, and on December 28 in major parts of the regions, precipitation is expected during the night of December 29 in Vayots Dzor, Syunik, and Artsakh. Snow is anticipated in mountainous and foothill areas on December 27, and everywhere on December 28. During December 27-28, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in some areas.

The air temperature is expected to decrease by 8-10 degrees on December 28-29.
