Friend with 4 Apartments Declared Homeless and Given New Apartment

According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," despite Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements that there should be no privileged individuals in Armenia, the behavior of Vazgen Adamyan, the head of the Chambarak community in the Gegharkunik region, clearly contradicts this.

In particular, on May 18 of this year, the Chambarak community council approved the transfer of an apartment owned by the community, located at 6/32 Tigran Mets Street, as a donation to citizen Gayane Danielyan. The justification given was that the citizen is homeless, has two minor children, and has possessed the property for years. On June 11, based on a decision by the Chambarak mayor Vazgen Adamyan, the apartment was handed over to Gayane Danielyan as a donation.

However, "Zhoghovurd" managed to uncover that Danielyan's family actually owns 4 apartments in the same building at the specified address, even though local authorities presented her as homeless. Danielyan's husband, Tarkhan Khechoyan, also stated in an interview with "Zhoghovurd" that he owns two apartments in his name.
