Newly Appointed Ambassador Holds 60,000 Swiss Francs
The newspaper "Fact" reports that Hasmik Tolmajyan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the French Republic, has submitted her declaration of assets to the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials upon taking office in 2018. Tolmajyan was appointed ambassador in May 2018.
According to the document published on the commission's website, she has declared an apartment and a private house.
There is no information regarding movable property.
As of the day she assumed office, the newly appointed ambassador had financial assets amounting to 60,000 Swiss Francs.
From January 1, 2018, until the day she took on her official responsibilities, her income was 1,828 Swiss Francs, which was derived from her salary.
It's worth noting that from 2014 to 2018, Hasmik Tolmajyan was an extraordinary envoy and plenipotentiary minister at the Armenian Embassy in Switzerland, as well as the deputy permanent representative of Armenia at the UN office. Previously, from 2008 to 2014, she served as an assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and from 2004 to 2008, she was the second and then the first secretary of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She has been part of the diplomatic corps since 1995.
