Andranik Karapetyan Takes Bronze in World Cup Competition

Andranik Karapetyan, a member of the Armenian men's weightlifting team, has won a bronze medal at the World Cup competition.

According to Armenpress, in the 81 kg weight category, Karapetyan lifted 161 kg in the snatch and pressed 180 kg. With a total result of 641 kg, the Armenian weightlifter secured third place, gaining important ranking points for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Karapetyan had previously received a score of 0 in the World Championship due to health issues.
